Bulk Waste Curbside Collection Program
Important Bulk Waste Pickup Guidelines:

Please note the following important information regarding our Bulk Waste Pickup service:
  • Registrations must be at least 24 hours apart. You are not permitted to schedule multiple pickups in one day.
  • All items must be listed. Any items not listed will not be picked up.
  • Bulk waste pickups are available by appointment only, on Tuesdays, for qualified residential properties.
    • A $50 non-refundable fee applies for this service.
    • Please refer to the list below for a list of approved and unapproved items for collection.
    • Please note: We cannot offer a refund if items are removed before the scheduled pickup, as trash pickers may sometimes take items prior to our scheduled service.
TERMS FOR BULKY WASTE PICKUP:
  • Limit of eight (8) items per pickup. Each item must be listed in advance. To update the list, please call the office by the Friday before your scheduled pickup.
  • Placed on the curb no earlier than 4:00 p.m. the day before the pickup and no later than 7:00 a.m. on the day of the pickup.
  • All items must be easily accessible and able to fit in the back of a pickup truck.
  • Bulky waste items are typically too large to fit in your regular trash cart (e.g., a stuffed chair or mattress). These items are often those that cannot burn, such as a sink.
  • No hazardous or toxic waste (e.g., paint, motor oil, asbestos, lead paint chips).
  • We will take up to four (4) tires (without rims), which will count as four (4) of your eight (8) items for disposal.
  • We will pick up clean mattresses and box springs. A mattress and box spring together count as two (2) items.
  • No loose wood will be accepted.
  • No garbage (e.g., food, kitchen waste) or trash bags, including bags of clothing, toys, etc.
  • No propane tanks.
  • No automobile parts (e.g., auto bodies, doors, drivetrains, motorcycles or parts, lawnmowers or parts, etc.).
  • We will only pick up the eight (8) items listed on your application. Any additional items placed out will not be collected and will be left on the curb.
  • Two people must be able to carry the item. Items that are too heavy will not be collected and will be left on the curb.
  • The $50.00 service charge is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • To ensure fairness to all community members, we cannot register any individual for multiple pickups on the same day.
