Hubbard Park Pool Information & Updates

Meriden Parks & Recreation is looking forward to the 2020 pool season at Hubbard Park. Due to COVID-19, changes have been made to general operations. Please continue to check this page for additional updates throughout the season. Our department will continue to monitor state and local health guidelines to ensure the safety of our patrons and staff as this is our top priority. Please review all information provided below prior to visiting the Hubbard Park Pool. We look forward to seeing you! 


Public Swim Schedule 
Public swim will begin Wednesday July 1st. The following schedule is subject to change depending on pool attendance or protocol changes directed by Governor Lamont or the Meriden Health and Human Services Department.
Open Every Day: 1:00pm to 5:30pm

How to register
The Meriden Parks & Recreation office is currently closed to the public. Purchasing of a pool pass may be done through this website, or over the phone. All transactions must be done prior to entering the Hubbard Park pool. There are absolutely no money transactions taking place by pool staff.


Resident Pool Pass$5.00 under 17. -  $15.00 for adults over 18.


If you have purchased a membership prior to 6/10/2020 and feel that it is no longer a good option due to these facility updates, Meriden Parks & Rec will issue a refund upon request. Refund requests must be made by phone or email by Friday, July 8, 2020. 

Non-residents: $15.00 under 17 - $25.00 for adults over 18.


Facility Protocols

Before coming to the facility please review all rules and protocols

Checking in: 





  1. There will be a one direction entrance and exit. Please only enter and exit through designated gates.


  2. Follow all social distancing guidelines.


  3. Temperatures will be taken for each individual entering the pool area. Anyone presenting with a temperature will be asked to leave immediately.


  4. Families will be directed to their designated area taped off on the pool deck.


  5. If you or your family is showing any signs of illness we ask that you leave immediately for the health and safety of all utilizing the pool area.

    Restrooms/Changing Rooms: 


  6. Please arrive already changed into swim attire as to reduce crowding in the restroom and changing area.


  7. If the restroom/changing area is too crowded, please wait outside until more people have exited. Social distancing should be maintained while in the facility. Please note, there will be no lost or found this season. 


  8. If possible, please shower with soap and water prior to arriving at the Hubbard Park pool.

    Pool Deck:


  9. Specific spacing will be marked on the pool deck for each family to ensure proper distancing.


  10. A face mask/covering is not required when social distancing can be maintained, but must be easily accessible if needed. 

    Swimming: Face masks will not be required while in the pool, but a strict six foot distance must be maintained between members of another party. Social/physical distancing within the pool is the primary responsibility of the patrons. 

    Cleaning & Sanitizing: Cleaning and sanitizing the facility will be a full team effort by the Meriden Parks & Recreation staff. Staff will concentrate on cleaning high touch surfaces including, but not limited to door handles, restrooms, railings.
